Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Nauru are being denied overseas medical treatment, despite the recommendations of doctors at the facility.

Reports released today indicated that 50 people have been denied overseas medical treatment, including three pregnant women who sought medical termination of their pregnancies.

The Australian Government has been accused of making the processes for medical assistance difficult on purpose and an act of shifting responsibility onto Nauruan authorities.
