Rising ocean temperatures have caused another bleaching event across the Great Barrier Reef this summer for the third time in just five years.
Scientists from the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies have tracked the extent of the damage by aerial surveys, finding more extensive bleaching than in previous occasions.
