In a stunning announcement, the government has caved into pressure from the opposition and minor parties to order a Royal Commission into the banks.

The issue has been bouncing around parliament for the past few months and came to a head last night, with the banks themselves requesting the enquiry, in an attempt to stop customer dissatisfaction.

The project will be costly, but experts are saying that it’s long overdue, and a small price to pay for such a big issue
