Genetically Modified Crops Sprout Again in the SA Election


Genetically modified crops still face heavy unpopularity with the public, but governments continue to push to remove regulations to allow their use.

Gene Ethics Director, Bob Phelps, says it has become an issue in the South Australian state election as Agriculture Minister Leon Bignell is willing to remove the ban on genetically modified canola crops after the election.
