Imagine living in a society which struggles with unemployment at close to 40%, where 80% of the population is dependant on food aid. A new report shows that for the 1.5 million people living in the Gaza Strip, the daily struggles is the worst it’s ever been. Robert Yallop, Principal Executive of Overseas Operations for CARE Australia has seen the area first hand and explains how different life is in Gaza.
