The Queensland Government is under fire after announcing it does not plan to fund the Cape York Welfare Reform Trial into next year.
Introduced in 2008, the Trial has seen an increase in school attendance, reduced crime rates and improved infrastructure in local Indigenous communities. But views are mixed on how efficiently the Trial has been operating.
