Early October will see doctors from indigenous communities from across the Pacific converge on Alice Springs for their annual conference. The Pacific Region Indigenous Doctors’ Congress, or PRIDoC, is not only a way of sharing knowledge, but also an important support network for these medical practitioners who sometimes work in tough environments. The Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association is hosting the event and The Wire caught up with their President to find out what’s on the agenda.
