Critics say new gas facilities are unnecessary and the government should support large scale solar battery projects

Th government’s gas-led energy policy was justified today by international businessman and energy advisor Andrew Liveris as being necessary because renewable energy is as yet unreliable. Many beg to differ with the success of the giant battery in SA leading the way to projects around the country. However the government’s support of gas threatens to slow such projects down.
