The federal election on May 18 will see a record number of Indigenous people running for seats in the House of Representatives and the Senate.

So with more First Nations people in parliament can we expect to see policy that reflects the broad desires and ambitions of Indigenous people across Australia?

And what do parties need to do to become the “party of choice” for First Nations voters?
