High level consultations have been taking place at the headquarters of the NATO alliance in Brussels on trouble with running civil assistance programs during the Taliban insurrection in Afghanistan. But UN deputy in Afghanistan Chris Alexander and NATO’s senior civilian representative in Afghanistan Ambassador Darn Evatts say strong progress is being made despite the fighting.
