FBI-Weiner email bombshell rocks Hillary campaign
With the finishing line in sight and pulling away from Donald Trump in the polls, Hillary Clinton must be ruing the day she got the internet put on at home. The email server affair has been dogging her throughout the campaign and it looked like it had been put to bed. But like a rogue meteor screaming in from outer-space, who could have predicted that stolid FBI Director James Comey, an Obama nominee, would release such damaging information a week out from the polling day. Worse still, nothing can be done prior to get details or refute it.
The faltering Trump campaign could not have planned a counter attack better, and Mr Trump is seizing it like a drowning man grabs for a life preserver. Pity the poor American people who now must decide whether to go out and vote to support a candidate on polling day, or just fly the flag in their front yard at half mast.
