Norwegian energy and mining company Equinor have abandoned their plans to drill into the Great Australian Bight.

Organizations such as Greenpeace and Sea Shepard have been in celebration this week as the company announced pulling out from their operations while members of South Australian Parliament are busy with trying to establish further plans to prevent other mining companies from moving in on the bid
