Environmental scientists advocate for more optimism on climate change

Among the dire statistics and shock headlines, climate change science has a positive side.

New research from scientists in South Australia has found that using ‘good news’ stories about environmental conservation – and a positive attitude – is far more likely to engage people in thinking about and acting on climate change than the bad news we usually see in the media.

Indre McGlinn spoke to the researchers behind this work, as well as a passionate young climate campaigner, about how to make positive progress on environmental issues.
