When a child is living with cancer it changes the life of not only the child, but their family and caregivers. But many relatives caring for children with cancer don’t seek help, instead believing they have to stay strong. Likewise, services and support for caregivers is often tailored only for parents which ignores the diverse roles siblings, grandparents and extended family play in caring for children with cancer.
