A COVID-19 vaccine out of Oxford University has passed the first phase of testing with flying colours.

Results from testing in 1,077 healthy adults have indicated it is a safe vaccine. It has shown to successfully produce an immune response however it remains unclear whether it can effectively tackle COVID-19.

To find out more about this vaccine candidate, The Wire’s Aidan Moller spoke with Dr Paul Griffin, a Director of Infectious Disease at Mater Health Services and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Queensland.
