As national Refugee week comes to an end tomorrow, Councils across Australia are being encouraged to sign up as Refugees Welcome Zones within their communities. South Australia Local Government Association president and Mayor, David O’Loughlin, says his Council area, Prospect, is on board with the new idea and are already running programs for new migrants.
