Coronavirus anxiety and the social media effect

At a time when toilet paper is highly sought after, social distancing is in full force and thousands are in self isolation, it’s safe to say the coronavirus has affected the way the world lives, plays and survives.

Although COVID-19 has had a major physical impact, the mental health impact is increasingly concerning, as people become anxious, confused and worried for the future.

The Wire spoke to Dr Louise Stone, Associate Professor at ANU Medical School, about mental well being during a worldwide pandemic.
