Community legal funding shortfall warning for domestic violence victims

Community legal centres warn women facing domestic violence could find it harder to get help if an upcoming funding shortfall isn’t addressed. The federal government has cut funding to community legal centres by 30 per cent over the next few years, with $12 million coming out next year and $30 million after that. This is despite a record increase in the number of clients over the past 5 years.
