Xi Jinping Strengthens His Hold On Power

The Chinese Communist Party this morning paved the way for Xi Jinping to rule for an unlimited amount of time, scrapping rules set in place in the early 1980s limiting the President of The People’s Republic to two five year terms.

The move has alarmed many within the nation, with recent memories of original leader of The People’s Republic of China, Chairman Mao Zedong.

Awaiting only the rubber stamp of the Parliament next week, President Xi Jinping is set to govern China for unlimited years to come.
