A new study on mental health has revealed more than half of Australian infants have risk factors for adult mental illness. The study is the first of its kind to estimate the number of children at-risk of developing mental illnesses later in life. Researchers considered risk factors such as genetic influences, bullying, neglect and witnessing domestic violence. They found that even by infancy, 51.7 percent of children were recorded as having multiple risks.
