Australia spent just over $10 billion subsidising medicines on the Pharamaceutical Benefits Scheme in 2015-16.

The list of drugs helps bring the cost of drugs down so they are more affordable for the general population.

A researcher says he’s found a way to bring down the cost while still servicing the community.
