Carbon price just the beginning, says climate policy expert

The carbon price is now in place and the bitter debate surrounding it has only increased in volume. But for all the political hand-wringing, our efforts to deal with climate change may have barely begun. To make the changes required to put our economy on a truly sustainable footing requires changes on a scale that is difficult to comprehend, says one climate policy expert. Andrew Macintosh is associate director of the centre for climate law and policy at the ANU, and he joined me to talk about the beginning of the carbon price a short time ago.
