The government has reintroduced a counter terrorism temporary exclusion bill last week after included some recommendations from a parliamentary committee.

Labor has indicated that they will support the bill that will grant the government the power to temporarily exclude some Australian citizens from returning to Australia for 12 months, but wants to see the full set of recommendations adopted.

However, the bill could run into some legal problems, as the legislation has the potential to contravene both international and constitutional law.
