As the death toll from the Grenfell Tower fire rises to 58, British MPs have revealed that banned materials may have contributed to the inferno.
Now it seems that 2500 buildings in NSW could be using the same combustible cladding material.
The NSW government is this week considering a number of measures that will improve the safety of high-rise buildings.
And this could have implications for the rest of Australia too.
