The long awaited Modern Slavery Act, which passed through the Parliament last week, will aim to make Australian companies more aware & accountable for slavery that may be involved in the manufacturing of their goods or services.

Politicians and advocates hope that the legislation will help Australia to play a role in ending slavery around the world.
