If you’ve ever been dependent on Centrelink for money to live you’ll know it’s wise to turn up to appointments. miss three and bingo – it’s no money for you for the next eight weeks. Alot of people are being caught out though by a sytem which asks no questions, just takes away benefits no matter how good a reason a person may have for not having turned up. Frank Quinlan from Catholic Social Services says the current breaching laws are causing a lot of hardship.
