Budget 2017: Fears for future of foreign aid

On the eve of the release of the 2017 Federal Budget, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced the Australian Federal Police will receive an additional $321.4 million over the next four years to fund the expansion of forces.
It’s speculated that funds from foreign aid will be diverted to cover the cost of the boost.
Oxfam Australia is concerned about the impact of further cuts on Australia’s already depleted aid budget.
