There’s a new report that says school leavers are struggling to find full time work once they complete their studies. Key contributors to the problem are underemployment and a lack of support to employers to create effective workplace introduction programs.

The problem is magnified for Indigenous youth and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Experts say the issue isn’t all about education at schools but is about setting up kids with links to business and community with a focus on real employment outcomes.
