Breast cancer diagnosis down as people avoid testing

In March and April this year The McGrath Foundation recorded a 37% decrease in people being screened for breast cancer due to concerns around Covid-19.

This means thousands of people could potentially miss an early diagnosis, a vital aspect of successful treatment outcomes.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The McGrath Foundation are encouraging anyone who has noticed changes in their breasts to get tested.
