Plans for a National Aboriginal Art Gallery have long been in the works, with proposals tabled in both South Australia and the Northern Territory.

The Anzac Hill Precinct in Alice Springs is the desired location and has the full support of Government and locals, but South Australia has so far secured the desired Federal funding.

So why should the gallery find its home in Australia’s heartland?
