A new study shows that large numbers of Australians currently live below the poverty line, and that those who rely on income support are not receiving enough.
The economy has continued to change throughout the years, however, no changes have yet been made to support those who struggle financially.
Australian organisations are asking the Australian government to create policies and changes that will help decrease the amount of people who currently live in poverty.
