Australian government expels Israeli diplomat over passport forgery

The Federal Government today announced it would expel an Israeli diplomat after investigations found the Israeli Government was involved in the production of fake Australian passports. It is assumed that the Israeli government was behind the assassination of a Hamas leader in February. Outrage in the UK and Australia has focused mainly on Israel’s use of their passports in the assassination, but some observers say there are bigger security issues at play.
