The arts sector may get more muscle in policy debates with a proposal for a new think tank funded by three large philanthropic organisations.
The Myer Foundation, the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation and the Keir Foundation have put up $1.65 million to establish a three-year program for research and public engagement in the arts.
