Billions of dollars have been allocated to help improve the lives of Aboriginal people, which includes the expansion of Indigenous child protection agencies. Since the expansion, the number of children taken from families in the Northern Territory has doubled because of reports of neglect. Some say funding needs to be redirected to Aborignal development and support services.
