According to a report from The National Centre for Vocational Education Research, Australia’s agriculture industry will have the second most number of job openings by 2024, with 10,000 a year.

Minister for Agriculture David Littleproud stated “The future looks bright for a job in agriculture.”

But not everybody sees the report the same way, with some sceptical about its findings.

Nick Parmeter and Victor Petrovic looked to find out whether the report is real cause for optimism in the industry.
