Advocacy groups have come out in support of the disability justice strategy, recommended by the Australian Human Rights Commission. The strategy aims to tackle discrimination against people with disabilities in the justic system.

The advocacy groups expect the state and territory governments to implement the recommendations. In addition, they will continue advocate to bring the issue into the national spotlight.
