Diversity Arts Australia Seeks More Than Ticked Boxes In order to bring more Australians from culturally diverse backgrounds (non-English speaking backgrounds) to work in the Arts, Diversity Arts Australia is hosting a one day symposium called, ‘Beyond Ticked Boxes; cultural diversity in the creative sector in Sydney’. The symposium was held Thursday June 29 at the Casula Powerhouse, the home of Diversity Arts Australia. Henry Wilson spoke to Aurana Ghandi a professional dancer who works in the Arts and Lena Nahlous, Executive Director of Diversity Arts Australia to discuss this.
